Care & Washing
At Too Many Humans, we create garments designed to stand the test of time, but to keep them looking fresh, it's all about the right care. Here's how to treat your TMH gear to make sure it stays as bold and comfortable as the day you first wore it.
General care
- Wash inside out to protect the fabric and preserve the print.
- Use mild detergent.
- Do not bleach.
- Avoid soaking, rubbing, or wringing.
- Wash with like-coloured garments.
- Hang dry, or tumble dry at low temperature (max 30 °C / 90 °F).
- Avoid direct sunlight while drying.
Cotton — tees, hoodies, crop tops
Our cotton pieces are made to breathe while offering durability. They are pre-shrunk for a consistent fit, so following the care instructions keeps them true to size. To keep the softness intact, avoid over-drying — air dry, or tumble dry on low.
Recycled polyester — Sports Jersey
Wash inside out in cold water with mild detergent. Tumble dry on low or air dry. Polyester handles a little more heat, but keep it low to avoid damage. Slight floating colour may appear during the first wash. That is normal for recycled fabric.
Faded and distressed pieces
Some pieces are intentionally distressed or washed for a vintage feel. These fade over time. That is the design, not a defect.
GSM is the weight of the fabric. Higher GSM means heavier and thicker; lower means lighter and more breathable. Each garment's GSM is listed in the size guide.
